LEICHARDT

This house was nearing completion when we commenced the landscaping. The builder has done a fantastic job in renovating the original terrace house in Leichardt. The whole garden was to be re-created. In the rear we installed organic stepping stones through a perennial garden leading to a rear studio and adjacent to the pool. We craned in 3 large olive trees to give instant impact and the bones for the garden. On the side boundary fences we install stainless steel wire for a mix of plants to grow up and create a green backdrop to the gardens. At the rear of the pool we installed another olive tree to create a green wall barrier to the outdoor shower with organic stepping-stones and ground covers to soften it. In the courtyard we decided on using large feature trees of Tropical birch trees with a soft ground cover to repel the sun and create a beautiful oasis for the clients to enjoy in an afternoon.
